| Clean 8 is a spaceship that cleans space debris floating along the orbit of earth. The crews of the Clean 8 are Tongs, a boy, and his father, who is the captain of the ship, and artificial intelligence robot Michel. One day, they find a strange sphere-like object floating around with space debris. Tongs become sucked into a wormhole created by this sphere when he was taking a walk in the space. Clean 8 also follow into the wormhole after Tongs. Captain and Michel regain their consciousness in the Alien Spaceship 'Coloterium'. This ship is found out to be from Planet Bumpy Wumpy and People of Fumbies occupy the Planet Bumpy Wumpy. There, Captain and Michel find Tongs, captured in a capsule hung on the ceiling of the Coloterium. There, Captain and Michel encounter Dr. Gallerg who is a Fumbies and they fight with Dr. Gallerg to save Tongs. Surprisingly, they discover that Dr. Gallerg needs them as clothes! It turns out to be that the Fumbies are really vulnerable to outer environment, so they need a shell of live beings to protect their soft bodies. To capture live beings, the Fumbies had set the wormhole traps here and there in the space. At this critical moment, Coloterium is bombarded by meteorites and its controlling system becomes chaotic. Since Dr. Gallerg is distracted so much with capturing Clean 8 and Captain and Michel, Dr. Gallerg cannot handle the situation properly. In the middle of this chaos, other Fumbies and Robot attack Clean 8. Luckily, Clean 8 succeeds in saving Tongs and escaping from the hands of Fumbies by hair-splitting chance. |
